I develop award-winning strategies that empower executives, mobilize managers, and engage employees to deliver on brand promises. I place a high value on learning and applying knowledge to help solve today's most pressing problems. I'm inquisitive and regularly seek to better understand current events, the market, business, human, and organizational behavior. If I'm not learning, I'm applying what I've learned to do good things or teaching so others can. Here's my academic background.
1. Change is the only constant.
Businesses exist in a continuous state of transformation. Stagnation is just a slow fade into irrelevance. Embrace change and thrive. Communication directs and drives change forward, aligning and empowering people, processes, and technology to navigate the journey harmoniously.
2. Communication is a team sport.
Meaning is co-created. I engage stakeholders and audiences throughout the communication process to build synergy and minimize distortion.
3. Knowledge is power.
Grounded in theory and research, I provide evidence-based solutions while embracing the uncomfortable truths that drive progress.
4. You can’t fatten a pig by weighing it.
I picked up this saying from a farmer. And it stuck, because measuring something alone won't improve it. I know exactly what needs to be measured and effectively diagnose problems, identify opportunities, and deliver actionable results using that data.
5. Imagination puts knowledge and data to work.
What good is knowledge and data if it's not put to work? Imagination inspires bold thinking. It's the source of creativity. Imagination amplifies knowledge and propels innovation and growth.
6. Integrity: Do what's right, not necessarily what's easy.
Integrity is more than a noun. To do what's right and avoid what's clearly wrong, integrity requires courage to confront problems head-on, foster transparency, challenge your own assumptions, listen to and often assimilate competing ideas, and mediate conflict. Integrity ensures the best decisions are made not necessarily the most popular. Integrity is hard work and leads to better outcomes for everyone.
